• About Us : New company on Tahiti, Polynesian Eels first to work with eels and glass eels in French Polynesia (territory as large as Europe with 118 Islands) and alone to do it. Our eels resource are intact at this day because they are never caught or eat by the Polynesians at this day (most of them) . We have 3 local species with very larges specimens. Our glass eel (baby eel) season is between january to april for 2 of our species. We could export live by air to Asian markets (we are near them) and frozen to European and spanish ones. We would begin eel farming activities in 2009 and eel product processing. Air delivery is do with Air New Zealand by Auckland Airport and after with their flight to Asia (Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, China) or other companies if A. N. Z. don't have flight on the country.
