The manufacturing plant occupies a total area of 17. 000 m extension 9. 500 of which are covered and is located next to the motorway a4 milano-venezia. During the year 1976 the company started the manufacturing of electromagnetic horns for cars and motorbikes and initially main markets L. E. B. Spare Italy and European neighbouring countries. The increased demand pushed the increase of production of the electromagnetic horns and at the same time the division of pressing and cold forming was strongly strengthened through the introduction of new powerful machines and tools that brought leb to become one of the most important suppliers in Italy of parts for electric motors and in particular the steel fan cowls. At present leb employes 50 highly skilled people and its turnover is 12 billions of italian lire or aproximately something less then 7 millions u. S. Dollars. In the month of july 1999 leb obtained the certification according to iso9002 standards. New developments through joint ventures and other forms of cooperation are currently seeked among other non European countries in order not to miss any opportunity coming from the globalisation of the international markets.
