In our Silver Green Products, the antimicrobial agent has become a permanent component of the fiber polymer. Silver ions deliver their antibacterial effect by emitting positively charged electric particles, i.e. ions. Bacteria are microorganisms, the spreading of which is actively impeded by silver ions. Our Silver Green Products come into direct contact with bacteria. Silver ions actively attack bacteria in several simultaneous ways. The effect is limited to the direct surface of the fiber, i.e. to the textile product itself. Bacteria are prevented from growing and spreading in and on the textile material.A warm and moist environment provides ideal growth conditions for bacteria. Sweating also supports the formation of unpleasant odors on fabrics.
