With state-of-the-art Italian manufacturing equipment, technical expertise supplied by Mario Levi Italy and 120 highly-skilled and motivated employees Mario Levi SA currently has the capacity to transform 1500 wet blue hides per day, through re-tanning and finishing processes, into superior quality leather which is then either cut and packed into ready-to-use kits or simply shipped as flat hides to either local or overseas customers. Mario Levi SA complies with the international quality standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO / TS 16949-the watchword being quality without compromise. The automated wet processing department ensures a high level of productivity, together with improved quality control and product uniformity. Chemicals are stored in minimum required quantities and stocks are precisely controlled by the FIFO method. The leather produced here is recognized worldwide for its softness, elegance and touch. These characteristics, combined with its excellent wear-resistant properties, are priority features in the production of high quality leather. The colour and above all the ability to reproduce it consistently are extremely important. Mario Levi has invested heavily in advanced equipment, guaranteeing uniformity in the colors requested by its customers. The factory is constantly committed to developing and producing products specific to individual customers' needs and guarantees exclusive tanning and finishing processes as far as competence and quality are concerned. State-of-the-art testing equipment ensures that factors such as colour movement, leather thickness, moisture content, print definition and softness are kept within very fine tolerances.
