• About Us : Sol Grains began its mission in 2008 to make germinated brown rice, also known as sprouted brown rice, available at an affordable price. Sol Grains came across this great type of rice by following food trends in Japan, Korea and other parts of Asia. The Asians understand that eating germinated brown rice promotes better health and we want to offer what they have benefited from. Instead of importing germinated brown rice directly from Asia we decided to manufacture it in the U. S. This allows us to oversee the quality of the product and offer it at a more affordable price. Before we started to sell the rice we wanted to make sure we had a high-quality product. It took us three years and many test runs to figure out the perfect method to produce what we believe to be the best germinated brown rice. We use high-quality California brown rice and implement eco-friendly processes that is cost effective. With our commitment to producing high-quality products and the continuous search for other healthy foods we believe we will become a successful organization for many years to come.
