The purpose of the clc is to represent a real forthcoming export transaction between the exporter and its own foreign buyer: The ultimate buyer/importer is unable or unwilling to open a regular l/c and we are replacing him for the requested l/c to faciliate the exporter. Since the addional condition (added to the regular conditions appearing in a l/c) included in the clc requires that the issuing bank issues certain amendment document, to be presented by the beneficiary, as one of the needed documents, the clc in its original format is a non financially binding document (unless at a later point in time it is amended by the issuing bank, against funding, to lift these condition). The clc provides documantary description of the contemplated export transaction and helps the exporter to secure pre export working capital financing or lower interest loan, from local lenders ("packing loan") for the manufacturing of the export order.We work with select agents who have a good reach into the potential markets in providing these services, and we are currently searching for addional busuness development partners for this fast growing bussiness.
