The business is a generational family business which originally started producing standard veneer edgebandings in roll in 1969.DIY Industries T/A VeneerTech SA specializes in the manufacture, by patented process, for export, of thick/laminated veneer edgebanding in thickness of either 1.9;2.5 & 3.1mm in the customers required width. Our main produced species are Red Oak White, Sapeli Mahogany, Cherry, Maple, Steamed (Pink) and unsteamed (white) Beech, African Rosewood (Bubinga).For our local market we produce veneered panels with core of either particleboard or MDF (medium density fibreboard) and trade various products required by our customers i. E. Plain and melamine faced particleboard, MDF, standard veneer edgebandings (manufactured by ourselves), melamine and PVC edgebanding.
