• About Us : LEPLAN VERMEERSCH is a small, family-run wine estate in the Southern Rhone Valley in France. It was established in 2000 by former Belgian Auto Sport Champion, Dirk Vermeersch. Dirk is now a completely self-taught winemaker. Without any priconceived ideas, he threw himself into researching and comparing the various viticultural methods. His daughter Ann studied at the local oenology school in the Chateauneuf du Pape region to learn her trade. Each of their wines receives its own, handpicked combination of modern and traditional techniques to realise ies full potential. They settle for nothing less than first: Their first wines from the 2001 vintage won national and international awards and accolades, and teh GT-S was the first ever Vin de Pays de Mediterranee with 2 stars in Hachette Guide des Vins. They're at 6 years in a row of gold medals and still counting. . . With 10 hectares of vines, they now produce 30 000 bottles of LEPLAN GT WINES, POVERMEERSCH.FRRD BY NATURE (made from organically grown grapes) in various Rhone appellations.
