• About Us : In the late 1940s, when most of Europe was re-building from WWII, the lack of funding, resD'Avinoces and equipment hampered a major portion of all construction efforts throughout Italy. Mr. Pasquale DAvino, engineer and inventor, drew up the plans for various immense rock crushers that would provide aggregates on a large scale for construction companies in the region.His plan was accomplished by attaining and modifying portions of destroyed heavy machinery (cable cars, cable excavators, military transports and war materials).In 1950, the plan became a reality on a hillside in Cercola, Italy and ultimately creating the company DAvino.Many of the rock crushers produced in the 50s are still in use today. For the next 2 decades DAvino expanded not only in the creation and improvement of his original idea but also towards machinery that would use what the rock crusher produced.In the early 70s, DAvino saw that the concrete market was changing and required compact, versatile transports that could produce and place concrete where it was needed. Thus the creation ofSelf-Loading Concrete Transport Mixer.In 1975, coupled with his knowledge of compact versatile equipment and the increasing market for concrete production/delivery, the company DAvino commenced with the mass-production of the first transportable mixer. From that day on, all efforts have been concentrated in creating and improving compact mixer transports and construction equipment. Though you might see other countries manufacturing Self Loading Concrete Transport Mixers, the idea was invented in Italy and all others come from our original design.In the late 70s, DAvino acquired the company AMOG, a renowned manufacturer of earth moving machinery.During this period, they re-designed and improved the range of the machines and currently offer six diverse models of Compact Articulated Loaders and Backhoe/Loaders, From the very beginning, the machines have been designed to be compatible with Bobcat compact design technology.Our products have always been renowned for their durability, versatility and simplicity earning diverse clients throughout Europe, South America and Africa along with being recognized in other countries.
