About Us : Rachana Handicrafts Battambang is a local non-governmental organization (LNGO) established to launch its operations since June 01, 1996 to respond to the needs of disadvantaged groups of women and children in the support of themselves and their families. Two specific programs have been set up after its formation. One is the sewing skill training program started in 1996 and another is the integrated handicraft program in 2000. All the participants in both programs have also been involved in the production of handicraft items. The programs have been made available through financial and technical assistances from a number of funding agencies, private enterprises, generous individuals and other NGOs such as: Caritas Japan through JLMM, Second Hand, Shop in Japan, Dan Church Aid (DCA) , Shinnyo EN
