We have added Synthetic Rope Division to current operation; a)Geo-textile Division:the largest geo-construction mat maker in Korea b)Synthetic Sling Division:Of Polyester,Aramid and HMPE focusing on Round Slings. c)Netting Division:Including sports net and industrial netting (no web-site for this division) Our rope division was established middle of last year and started supply to local heavy industries including shipbuilding, power plant and large scale maritime related industries.All production equipments are brand-new and of high efficiency machines.Our skilled labors combined with high level techniques make us to be more competitive, despite late comer.Many of the machines on order have been delivered to us, including 8-strand, 12-strand, 32-strand(for outer layer of double braid) machines and specially designed high tenacity PP Dan line extruder. We are now able to meet diversified demand from overseas.This is why we are approaching to you with great possibility. Our PP dan line, called as Tuffdan in local market, is known as the yarn with highest tenacity in Korea producing 8.5g/denier which is average 30% stronger than those from other sources. This has been proven by official third party test institute. Accordingly there are advantages in our Tuffdan rope and helps our customers to lower costs. If same strength, our rope is lighter, which makes rope cost less expensive. Besides, we are especially focusing on braided rope, making production processes as simpleas possible so that we can cut out unnecessary cost factors due to too wide range of products. Thus, we could be more competitive and stand ahead of other competitors in the braided rope segment. This does not mean, however, that we are not competitive in twisted rope.Our associate factories are specialized in making twisted rope, whose cost is more competitive than other makers doing all. We are especially focusing on 12-strand rope while others do 8-strand or twisted rope. Sometime ago, it was harder to fabricate 12-strand rope in greater diameter, so cost of 12-strand rope was higher than that of 8-strand. We have installed more sets of 12-strand, from big to small diameter,so we have greater capacity in 12-strand field than other makers.We are going to supply 12-strand rope at the almost same price of 8-strand.This will give our customers great advantages.The 12-strand rope has more long points than 8-strand, stronger if same diameter and easier handling due to its flexibility.These could be benefits in using 12-strand rope.That is what we aim;better rope with no extra cost. Today's market tendency is that 12-strand, 2x12-strand(=24-strand) and Plus or Double Braid are replacing gradually 8-strand ropes which is an old fashion. The preference of end users is now moving to 12-st, 24-st and Plus type ropes from 8-st old fashion.Ever increasing demand on new fashion rope shows today's choice very well.That made us to put more efforts in newdemand, and its results prove that our decision to reinforce new trend rope line has been right.
