Within a year artifex gathered momentum and became one of the major manufacturers of satellite cable headend equipments in calcutta under the brand name volga. It was the time when artifex also ventured into the hotel engineering industry and electrical engineering. In 1995, when star TV was entering the India scenario, mr. Ariff mohammad started promoting the firm to become a public limited company. Finally, in april 1996, artifex was incorporated to become a public limited company. Since then, theres no looking back.Our objective is to provide complete, clear and concise solution to any requirement in the field of satellite, cable, hotel and electrical engineering industry, live event management, sales and distribution with emphasis on team building, time management, organization, customer service orientation, cost control and above all safety.Our achievments include live event management for the mega fashion event known as darpan which is a journey through rich and traditional fashion of India. This event takes place every year in january since 1999.Also our other achievment includes the live event transmission of mother teresas' funeral in september 1997 for bbc, ebu and zdf german television.
