In paralel to general trend of strategical alliances in the automotive sector Maysan formed a joint venture with Mando Corporation from South Korea in 1997, after which the company changed its name to Maysan Mando. Maysan Mando, that has been manufacturing under ISO 9001: 1994 system since 2001 has increased its quality standards to ISO 9001: 2000 level in the first quarter of 2004, and also obtained the ISO TS 16949: 2002 certificate in the second quarter of 2004. Maysan Mando provides service to prestigious customer protfolio in the Local OEM market, such as Mercedes Benz Turk, Hyundai Assan, Otoyol Iveco, Anadolu Isuzu, BMC, Otokar, Mitsubishi Temsa and Karsan Peugeot. In the export markets Maysan Mando products all over Europe, North Africa, Middle East, Russia and Latin America. In the local aftermarket Maysan Mando products are distributed under Maysan Mando and Maysan Halla Brands. Maysan mando sells one third of its output in the local after market, % 40 of the output export and the rest in the local OEM market. Maysan Mando has a production capacity of up to 3. 2 million shock absorbers.
