Our company is being offered a contract by our State Government-Linked Company to clear an area of about 30, 000 hectares for the development of planted forest plantation, which we should complete in 36 months. We are required to fully utilize the biomass. During the land clearing works we will concurrently carry out in-situ chipping of the biomass and logs with diameters between 8 inches to 12 inches will be debarked for the production of wooden pole. Branches and trunk with diameter less than 8 inches will be chipped for mulch and also for supply to local industries as well as for export. We need to clear about 800 hecatres of logged out forest land per month. From such an area, we should be able to supply not less than 10,000M3 of wood chips and not less than 10,000 wooden poles. We are looking for big-time buyers for a medium term contract of 3 years.
