DOE Industries is the leading local manufacturer of chrome-plated brass tapwares and sanitary fittings in Malaysia. It has a gravitydie-casting foundry producing brass die-castings, which are then surfaced-finished in chrome or chrome-gold in an automaticelectro-plating line. DOE Industries manufactures tapwares under the BS 5412 standard, in the category of 'Specification for the Performance of Draw-off Taps with Metal Bodies for Water Services'. Its products are accredited with the ISO 9001:2000 quality system and IKRAM. Approvals have also been obtained from the various specifying bodies such as the Public Works Department (JKR) and the State Water Authorities.
