• About Us : NP is currently engaged in the business of Refining edible oils viz, Cotton Seed Oil, Palmoilen, SunfloNatural Proteins Sdn Bhdr Oil, Groundnut Oil and Vegetable Oils including seed processing and solvent extraction and trading in edible / non - edible oils.The promoters started this business in 1992 and have come a long way in establishing the fortune of the N K Group in the past 18 years. The promoters are successfully running the existing business which has a capacity of 450 M.T per day of refining.NP markets edible oils under the brand name of TIRUPATI which is distributed and sold through the wholesale and retail chain of domestic market. NP also supplies refined edible oils to the Government Organization on a regular basis.NP is accorded the status of STAR EXPORT HOUSE and is exporting Castor Oil, its derivatives and De-oiled cakes to various countries worldwide.The present operations of the Company may be broadly categorized under four heads:Manufacturing ( Refining )MarketingTradingExportsThe Company, for its trading operations, sources from domestic / international market various vegetable oils in either crude or refined form and sells them either directly or through brokers.Purchases are made at competitive rates and procured either directly or through brokers. As regards raw materials the Company buys Wash Cottonseed Oil, & Castor seeds from local market and purchases Crude Palm & Soya oil & Sunflower Oil on high seas basis. These are sold in the domestic market after crushing, extraction, and refining or through direct trading. Purchases are made at competitive rates.Exports are made to various countries worldwide.The Company has been operating for the last 18 years. The operating and financial results of the existing unit appear to be quite satisfactory. The promoters have sufficient experience in this line of activity. The company has appointed various professionals to take care of day to day operations of the company and related aspects. The company has already installed integrated accounting software - ERP, which will enable the management to make in depth analysis at production, marketing and finance levels.The promoters are traditionally involved in this business. The level of growth achieved by the group in the domestic and business is satisfactory and the contacts developed by them are wide which help them to source the trading goods with ease. Moreover, they are well aware of the market which helps them in generating better margins. The technology chosen is the latest available technology in the world and is capable of adopting quick stock changes within the shortest possible time. The edible oil market in India is growing rapidly. India though being one of the largest consumers of edible oil in the world, still has a very low per capita consumption. Thus substantial potential exists for increase in demand for edible oils in future.We are having our own transport division which covers 20 fleet vehicles and 30 tankers to enable the company to provide prompt quality service to our customers.
