• About Us : History of Mathias Bjorge ASMathias Bjorge AS is a traditional producer of seafood from Norway. Mathias Bjorge AS specialities are salted and dried fish, and Red King crab. Our main office is located on Ellingsoy on the west coast of Norway. Mathias Bjorge and Karl Bjorge established the company in 1962. During these years the company has worked hard to achieve a high quality standard for our products. Our products excellent quality is a result of years of production experience achieved trough several generations. The clean and cold environment in Norway provides the best seafood in the world. In 1998 Mathias Bjorge AS established an export / import department. This department is responsible for sales of our finished products and purchases of raw materials for our production. This department has also established relationships with suppliers of different salted and frozen products for direct sales to our customers. In the future we will continue to build a strong organisation with focus on quality both as a producer and as a direct importer / exporter. We want to give a great taste and experience to our consumers. Mathias Bjorge AS has a strong focus on using only natural and organic raw materials in our production. We have a no tolerance policy of adding chemicals to our product. By working closely with selected suppliers, using employees with years of experience and through continuous dialog with our customers, we are able to offer products that will give our consumers the taste experience they deserve. Our sales department of frozen products is organized to work within the same concept as with the product we produce ourselves. Our challenge in the future will be to maintain steady quality supplies and build our brand in different markets. We wish to build good relationships with our customers.
