• About Us : Nigerian starch mills limited was established in the year 1975 & started its operations in 1978. It was operating all these years to partial capacities, due to the irregularity in the raw material (cassava) supply. In the year 2005, a team of indians Nigerian Starch Mills Limitedre brought to manage the operations. In the first year itself,1200 hectares of cassava were planted for captive consumption. In the second year 3000 heactares of planting is planned. Due to assured availability of raw materials and due to the revamping & recommissioning of the factory, nsm can now supply around 1200 -1500 tons of starch per month.In the next years, nsm is also planning to go for other value added products made from cassava tubers.
