Odin currently operates one retail outlet in the upmarket Westlands Area of Nairobi for the importation and sale of 7 different brands of European and Japanese models. Odin believes that its product mix contains a higher proportion of the more desirable luxury and mid-line import brands than most automotive retailers. The Company offers customers an extensive range of automotive products and services, including used vehicle sales and related importing and insurance, car alarm services and importation of replacement parts. In addition, The Company has seen that being the importers and not just a middleman dealer helps improve quality of vehicles sold and allows for more flexibility in pricing. Odin's customers are usually employees of multinational and local blue-chip organisations. A sample of Odin's customers work for SmithKline Beecham, British Airways, KLM, Central Bank of Kenya, Citibank, Barclays Bank, CBA, National Bank, BOC Gases, KWAL, Serena Hotels, Securicor, Sports Stadia Management Board, and KTDA amongst others. Odin has also pledged to support IPIECA (International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association) in its bid to phase out leaded gasoline in Sub Saharan Africa by December 2005. In this issue, we have not imported nor sold any vehicles that do not use unleaded fuel in the years 2005 and 2006, and believe that environmental responsibility lies with the importer and dealer in motor vehicles. The Company's future plans include the start-up or acquisition of a motor vehicle leasing unit, providing leasing options to a large number of small and mid-sized enterprises, who have been largely ignored by the existing traditional leasing firms. Odin also has plans to enter the transport industry with the future provision of a high quality taxi cab business, with standardized meter based transparent pricing.
