• About Us : Established in 1988, the Pacific Wide Group is a privately owned family company. Pacific WIde (NZ) Ltd have grown to encompass numerous responsibilities to meet our customer requirements, from securing raw resources to direct delivery of products and information. Manufacturing is vital to the Groups operations. We have made considerable investment in our facilities and have involvement in manufacturing, processing, logistics, sales and marketing. Throughout our history we have worked hard at being innovative and pioneering. Our standards are accepted globally throughout the industry. Our head office is based in the garden city of Christchurch, New Zealand, about five minutes from the Christchurch International Airport and 10 minutes from the city centre. Our office is set in beautifully landscaped surroundings. Within the Group there is: - Pacific Wide (NZ) Ltd, an exporter of horticultural product- Coastpak Holdings Ltd, a Sphagnum moss harvesting and processing plant based in Hokitika- Pacific Bark Ltd, a bark processing plant located in Napier- Costa Verde Trading S. A, a Sphagnum moss harvester and processor in Chile- Tropicoir Lanka Pty Ltd, a Coir processor located in Sri Lanka- Tropical International Pty Ltd, a trading company based in Sri Lanka and India- Gro Pacific NZ Ltd, a New Zealand distribution company in Christchurch. With numerous years of industry experience, we have formed many strong relationships with our customers, many of whom we count among our friends. As a Group we are committed to increasing our technical knowledge through our own investment in research and development. We have also established key partnerships with leading growers and others involved in the growing media industry. As a result we are able to offer professional, friendly advice and support as well as high quality products. As a leading exporter and importer of soil-less growing media Pacific Wide (NZ) Ltd is committed to meeting strict quality control standards. We specialise in Sphagnum moss, processed Pinus radiata bark, bark based products and Coir. Previously these products were sourced from independent suppliers before the decision was made to invest in production facilities which allowed us greater control over consistency and quality. Our core values revolve around products that are from renewable and sustainable resources, are recyclable, environmentally friendly, and of consistent quality. Our systems are developed to meet ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) certification standards.
