• About Us : Adler trading Co. Pty Ltd was founded by Williem/Bill VanderLe Roi Homestylecookieserd in 1957. The business started as a cake shop baking Dutch biscuits which were sold to delicatessens and super markets.Business and demand for their products grew rapidly, and in 1963 the cake shop was sold and the biscuit business was moved to a small factory in Airport West.In 1973 Bills son Ron entered the business and is now Managing Director. In the early 1980s manufacture of bulk bags of biscuits were produced to be sold at markets. They also commenced supply to Ansett Airlines with portion control packs of biscuits. This supply continued for approximately 9 years. In 1990, Adler commenced to manufacture for Koala Brand. The range grew to over forty different product lines, ranging from food service to super market lines to gift and specialty lines to hamper products.Adler has also been successful in exporting Emu Bottom, and Koala brand to customers in Japan, Singapore and Europe.In 1993, the factory was again relocated due to the increase in sales, and relocated to the current site in Airport West.Also in 2002 Adler purchased the business of Le Roi Homestyle Cookies, increasing its presence into the food service area with portion control packs supplied to hospitals, hotels, offices and other institutional outlets manufacturing biscuit crumb become a large part of the business.In 2003, Adler purchased the Koala Brand business and now manufactures and distributes these products.In July 2010 the business is moving to a new facility at 18-20 Trade Park Drive, Tullamarine. The new facility will be made to BRC, Woolworths Version 6 and Coles standards.Le Roi Homestyle Cookies also manufacture various products under contract for a number of companies including Woolworths, Coles and IGA and Metcash just to name a few.Le Roi Homestyle Cookies is constantly improving and increasing their range of products to suit any and all consumer needs.
