• About Us : Fruit Producer Cooperative SGPO NASZ SAD ORCHARD (Polish: Spoldzielcza Grupa Producentow Owocow NASZ SAD) was founded in 2001 by a group of 8 fruit growers from the region of Grojec, which is situated about 45 km (30 miles) south of Warsaw. We wished to take advantage of the proximity to Poland's capital and its market and so we entered into cooperation with shops from Warsaw, thus eliminating the need for intermediaries. This enabled us to raise competitiveness and increase profit. The next stage of the group's development was expanding into Europe. To reach this goal, we welcomed new members, raising the production potential to 10 000-15 000 tones. In addition to that, we made a number of investments aimed at creating a modern sorting and storage center. At present, the group comprises 21 farms, which have their own storage center (70% thereof are ULO and CA coolers) at their disposal. The total farm area amounts to over 200 hectares (approx. 500 acres) . Today, OUR ORCHARD has one of the most modern sorting and storage centers in Poland with area of 8 000 m2, which enables us to meet high requirements of our customers and rise to their expectations. We have the biggest machine for preliminary fruit sorting with water channels with the capacity of 18 ton / h in Poland. The machine is equipped with a brand new quality evaluation system GlobalScan, which sorts fruit based on its color, weight and size. This system constitutes a guarantee of the high quality of the goods. We also have a machine designed to pack fruit in plastic wrap and four packing lines. The packing capacity is 20 ton / h. OUR ORCHARD is a reliable partner who brings professionalism, high quality and timeliness to the table. The group was granted EUROGAP and BRC certificates, which form a proof of the product's high quality. The products have been proved to be safe for customers and the production technology is environment-friendly. The group exports among others to Scandinavia, Germany, Denmark, England, and France. We cooperate with supermarket chains, wholesale stores and 200 retail traders. Our Orchard produces a wide range of fruit.
