D. -negotino, whose basic activity is the production of wine and alcoholic beverages, is situated in the heart of the region along the shores of the river vardar (povardarie region) . In this region are grown grapevine sorts of finest quality. The tradition of wine production has its origins way back, in the time of alexander the great, and remains until present times. Starting with only 25 employees and a capacity of 500. 000 liters, 40 years later, Winery POVARDARIE successful company, which employs 129 people and has the capacity of 30. 000. 000 liters. 80% of our wine is exported in bulk or bottled arround the world.
