• About Us : I take pleasure to introduce myself as U.Raghavender Rao, Editor ofthe Bombay-based URR Media Syndicate (URRMS).I have been a writer-JURR Media Syndicatenalist (English) during the past 15 years inBombay. After the initial experience as full-time writer-Journalist Istarted URR Media Syndicate in 1996 to help the media housesoutsource their requirements.I represented National newspapers such as The Free Press Journal andThe Deccan Chronicle, on my way to becoming a full-fledged Mediaman,having been thorough with writing, editing, rewriting, proof-readingetc. -- all on the computer screen by 1993 (When computerisation wasbarely introduced in Bombay media). Later I joined Corporate andtradepublications such as Fortune india, Business Newsweek leading up tothe launch of the URR Media Syndicate.URR Media Syndicate (URRMS) is an 8-year-old Media syndicate whichalso helps media and corporate establishments outsource thereditorial needs, small or big.URRMS was started with an aim to help small-budget publications--both mainline and trade-oriented-- outsource at a fraction of theiroriginal cost which normally covered staff salaries, bonuses, otheradministrative and overhead costs.URRMS started with the following clientele: Touchdown India, then theonly publication recommended by the Government of India for NRIinvestments, Mid-day (corporate section), Dalal Street Journal,Assignments Abroad Times and a couple of smaller ones.Today, URRMS serves clients of the repute of The Electrical India, and The Industrial India and a few others having completed contractswith Gratex Industries Ltd (Newsletter job), Exim Newsletter in therecent past.
