The MEGINDEX policy on tolerance for defective products is aligned with our buyers' expectations. Our contingency policy restricts payment only on acceptable percentage of units per container. In other words, if you deliver goods that are 80% satisfactory, then you'll only get paid for 80% of your delivery. That's firm, non-negotiable, and included on the terms and conditions of the two-tiered L/C release. Unfortunately, there are many unscrupulous and criminal-minded traders. Therefore, if a delivery is less-than-satisfactory, we will resolve the transaction and not do business with the supplier again.
