As the rag trading business evolved into paper trading, Abner began buying and selling waste paper. In 1957, Perry H. Koplik and Sons, Inc. Was established by Abners son Perry and his son Michael, who at the time, Perry H. Koplik And Sonsre both employed by a paper merchant company called Castle and Overton. Two years later, Michaels younger brother Kenneth joined his brother and father in the family business. Always based in New York City, since its inception Perry H. Koplik and Sons is a global sales representation company covering all aspects of the pulp and paper industry. Newsprint, pulp and waste paper supply, specialty grades, tissue, packaging grades, containerboard, and linerboard are managed through Kopliks elaborate network of paper industry professionals.
