Buying the fruit from Para and the neighbouring state of Maranhao, they started selling it on the well-known Ver-o-Peso market in Belem. As time went by, dispatching gradually but successfully the berries from the surroundings cities, they acquired a high expertise in the fruit quality and supply logistics. Being managed by its 3rd generating today, the company carries more than 25 years of experience in this wonder fruit. Our people use this background daily to process the fruits into single strength pulps and purees at an unparalleled price-quality ratio. The factory was actually founded in 2003 under the name Acai Sao Pedro. In 2005, when starting working with other fruits than acai, the company name switched to Bela Iaca.
