The majority of parts are of a high quality "hand lay-up" process but, we have the ability to do spray up, vacuum molding and resin transfer molds. Our staff has an average of 20 years in the industry, making us confident we can come up with an economical solution for you. AA's staff has competencies in polyester, polyvinyl or epoxy resins and with E glass, S glass, carbon fiber, Kevlar or other high tech composite.Between two plant locations in Jacksonville, AA Fiberglass is able to utilize 28,000 sq. ft of combined office, manufacturing and warehouse space.We offer the skills necessary to develop an idea from concept to reality through the use of skilled, creative sculptors, production mold makers, computer design personnel, and production personnel that are dedicated to the production of quality parts. AA's alliances with sister and partner companies allow us to offer metal fabrication, electronics, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, paint and logistics all under one roof.Our employees have participated in the production of aircraft parts, windmills, hydro turbines and other complex production parts.Current management is CEO-President Michael Jackson, graduate of Georgia Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 1974.He has worked as a project engineer, process engineer, R&D engineer, VP operations, General Manager and ultimately owner of two companies.He is also a Registered Professional Engineer (State of California) and the owner of three patents.Also, he has lead two companies to certification to ISO 9001, to which AA Custom Fiberglass is in the process of becoming certified. One result of his journey through his particular career is extensive operational experience with an emphasis on quality, manufacturing engineering and theory of constraints.AA Custom Fiberglass is strategically located 6 miles from the Port of Jacksonville and only 15 miles from the Jacksonville International Airport.Jacksonville also boasts the ability to reach 60 percent of the US population within one day by truck.AA is capable and familiar with shipping via road and rail freight. AA is proficient at shipping large and oversized-loads with a good working relationship with the local carriers.
