Wood Solutions is a Pty Ltd company, which imports timber and timber products from Wood Solutions Bvll managed plantations in Africa and supply these to the European Water Works Industry. This industry applies timber in the area where water and land meets, hence the maintenance of water channels, coastal protection projects, yacht harbours, marina's and wharfs. This infra-structure is usually controlled by Governments, which especially in Holland, does not allow any treatments and do not want to use timber from tropical rain forests. The main product of Wood Solutions is: FSC certified Hardwood Poles (Piles) with the highest natural durability (class 1 = Very Durable) , including resistancy to the Marine Borer (Teredo navalis) . Available in length from 3 M to 14 m; mid diameter from 10 cm to 40 cm. For mooring boats in yachtharbours, often square beams are used and Wood Solutions is replacing these with round poles, being far more cost efficient.
