In December 2008 AZOVELECTROSTAL has put into operation Continuous casting machine for manufacturing of concasted steel billets. The range of products will include: - round steel billets with dia. 400 mm (length: 4-6m, 10-12m) - square steel billets with section 250x250mm (length: 4-6m, 10-12m) . The scheduled quantity of concasted billets will amount to 30000 tons per month. The steel is obtained from EAF following LF + VD. The location of "AzovElectroStal" near Mariupol port as well as having into operation its own railroad approaches enables our company to deliver production with lower transportation costs in shorter time.
