• About Us : zona nig ltd situated in Benin city southern Nigeria and we have a nail manufacturing company here. Also we have a farm where we rear snails and poultry for eggs and protein. We have a fish farm(cat fish)and a piggery. We have been into manufacturing since 1986 and the farming aspect is new and we want to make a good market for export. I know there is a market for snails in Europe or North America or Asia but I have know idea where to start to look for them until I was introduced to alibaba. I hope this will reach me out to the outside market. Currently we have about 40 staff in the manufacturing side and about 18 staff in the farm section. If I do get a stead export market, this will enable me start with my proposed expansion to meet with the demands of my clients. I would also be happy to get an investor who is willing to bring in his expertise and resources to develop my excess plots which I havent been able to develop. I have a plot of land which is 1km sq. I know with fresh funds and expertise we will be able to cultivate and go into more things that will be needed in Europe and with the abuntant labor readily available cheapily here and the condusive environment for investment since the advert of democracy in Nigeria, we are potential gaint trying to wake up from its slumber. We need to take advantage of things here and even the local market alone is large and untapped. The government place a ban on the importation of frozen birds so as to stimulate the local production and this is making people to go into poultry to try to bridge the difference with the absence of imports. So far my farm is small but with very great potentials and I am will to work cultivate the excess fallow land with the help of investors who are will to invest in Nigeria. I am ready to visit any investor from Europe or south Africa who is will to either place large orders or invest in my farm so that we can start transparently. Edible snails are a delicacy in Africa, Europe and China and we need the cultivate them now in large scale because you just cant pick them again from swamps because the swamps are been degraded due to development and oil spillage in our region.
