A new high-volume wood pellet manufacturing facility is currently being built to produce 100, 000 tons of premium wood pellets per year. The pellets are made from premium Northern LoGreat Lakes Global Energyr Michigan hardwood. Quality is controlled by using de-barked hardwood trees. No saw dust, bark or limbs are used, ensuring the finest quality pellet. Our product will comply with all European and USA premium pellet standards.Quantity - Through a mutually beneficial agreement, we can fulfill your wood pellet requirements without interruption. Great Lakes Global Energy is strategically located in the heart of an abundant and sustainable hardwood forest.We firmly believe in securing our raw materials from sustainable sources and, to reinforce this commitment, we adhere to an established sustainability policy.Our harvest purchase contract requires our suppliers to comply with and provide information guaranteeing these principles are met.Our hardwood is procured through our Certified Forest Manager and harvested according to sustainable forest management (SFM) standards and guidelines.The abundance of these forest assets in the Northern Lower Michigan will provide enough fiber to produce a premium wood pellet for decades without the deterioration of the health and sustainability of those assets.Quality - Our competitive advantage is value; the combination of quality and price.Our premium hardwood pellets meet or exceed the standards for a premium pellet as established by the Pellet Fuel Institute and the European DIN 51731 and O-Norm M-7135.Only the white wood of hardwood assets goes into our pellet.Certified quality control sampling and testing is utilized during our production, assuring a consistently premium pellet be supplied to our partner every time.Margins - Efficiency has been built into every aspect of our production distribution system.We are positioned to be competitively priced in any market in the United States.This is achieved by our strategic proximity to an abundance of raw materials and onsite direct-load capabilities into rail cars.For our international partners, we are within 200 miles of an international shipping port which can handle large quantities of bulk pellets, gravity dumped from closed hopper rail cars onto high capacity conveyers and into waiting ships bound for Europe.
