The creative, unified and dedicated spirit of our members is at all times ready to fulfill our responsibilities towards all whom we serve.OUR MOTTO Loyalty, Honesty, DedicationMilitia TrustThe Militia Trust was established in the Eastern Cape in 1999, originally to facilitate the introduction of Military Personnel, being retrenched or rationalized, into the security industry.Our members consisted mostly of ex- SADF, Transkei and Ciskei Defence Force Members, as well as members from Mkhonto we Sizwe, and APLA. Subsequent to those activities, Militia conducted Community Policing Projects along the Transkei Wild Coast as well as in East London, where volunteer members from communities were trained and placed into volunteer service as an executive arm of the Community Policing Forums.Most of our members in those areas have subsequently been absorbed into the SAPS volunteer system or the Police Reserves.
