With the establishment of our first packing house in 1983, ozler ziraat started exporting to european markets. Our brand hasat quickly received recognition as the best quality citrus from turkey, and ozler ziraat positioned itself among the most prestigious citrus suppliers in europe. In 1993 and 2002, quality of hasat was saluted in russia and honkong respectively. Our exports exceeding 30000 tons(15000 tons to europe + 15000 tons to russia +700 tons to hong kong) and rising every year, the future of ozler ziraat shines bright as we continue to develop new markets and strive for top quality.ProductionOzler ziraat currently operates on 550 hectares of land producing 15000 tons of numerous orange, lemon, grapefruit, and mandarin varieties. As of fall 2004 all of our production will be done accordingly with eurepgap regulations. Our production team of experienced agronomists and skilled workers utilize the latest agricultural technology and the most effective methods such as drip irrigation and frost preventing wind machines to achieve top quality. Meticulous selection by our elite harvest team ensures that only the best produce enter the packing stage.PackingOur haccp-iso certified packing house is located minutes(12 km diametre avg. ) from production sites which enables rapid inital treatment.15,000 m2 of covered area, which includes 1500 ton cold storage facility, is used to process 40000 tons of citrus per year. Upon arrival, fruits are immediately cleaned and treated for prolonging shelf life. Ozler ziraat produce is selected and handpacked fastidiously by crafty women before passing at least 3 quality control points.
