In Brazil we have two basic kind of cachaca, the industrial one, lowest quality, large production and lowest price... and the home made one... high quality, low production and better value on market. The difference on quality is huge, the last one has a rich buque and is free of nocive substances that cause hangover and liver diseases... Our production is located in a farm on the top of Mantiqueira's Mountains at 1.500m altitude and its about 2 hours drive from the capital of Sao Paulo, even been in Minas Gerais state... Minas Gerais is the main homemade cachaca manufacturer state and known for its best quality.
